Asorsalud Clinic

Context

Asorsalud is a private health clinic in Tunja, Colombia. The clinic is specialised in surgeries and recovery of patients after accidents that affected their mobility.

Work

In 2015 I worked closely with the architect Miguel Carvajal for the facade redesign of the Clinic. Here I was in charge of the installation of the big fluorescent billboards. After the successful completion of this project, we started working closely with Asorsalud for 3 years to improve their patients’ experience.

In this second phase, I was responsible for the signage in the building to comply with Colombian regulation. This included for example the design of the signage for evacuation routes and other informative signs. Besides the signage, I also created the informative material for patients in the form of brochures.

Results

Since our cooperation, the clinic realised the value that design brings to establish better communication with their patients. On a personal level, Asorsalud founded the basis for the direction I wanted to take in my career in service design and user experience.
